    隨著近年來(lái)YBCO涂層超導(dǎo)帶材性能的提升,其相關(guān)應(yīng)用已逐漸成為研究熱點(diǎn)。由于單根帶材長(zhǎng)度通常不能滿足實(shí)際應(yīng)用需要或需要形成閉合線圈,涂層超導(dǎo)帶材的連接是各項(xiàng)應(yīng)用中必不可少的一個(gè)關(guān)鍵步驟。國(guó)內(nèi)外對(duì)帶材接頭工藝中控制因素的研究主要集中在焊接溫度、焊料、施加壓力等方面。由于涂層帶材很薄,極易因?yàn)榫植康奈⑿⌒巫兌鴵p壞退化,因此焊接平臺(tái)表面應(yīng)該足夠平整光滑,焊接平臺(tái)具有高平整度表面也是獲得極低電阻接頭的關(guān)鍵因素之一,而目前這一點(diǎn)還未引起足夠重視。本文研究了一種簡(jiǎn)便有效的基于高平整度(小于5 μm/100 mm)焊接平臺(tái)的涂層超導(dǎo)帶材焊接工藝。采用該工藝及帶材正面相對(duì)的搭接方式,進(jìn)行了不同厚度和搭接長(zhǎng)度的帶材接頭焊接。之后,采用四引線法在液氮環(huán)境中對(duì)接頭進(jìn)行了電性能測(cè)試,當(dāng)搭接長(zhǎng)度為14 cm時(shí)接頭電阻低至6.3 nΩ。此外,通過(guò)金相光學(xué)顯微鏡和掃描電子顯微鏡對(duì)接頭微觀結(jié)構(gòu)進(jìn)行了掃描,獲得了接頭處焊料分布狀態(tài)。

    Abstract:

    As recent advances on the performance of the YBCO coated conductor (CC) tape, its attractive perspectives for application have opened up for us. Joining process of CC tapes is inevitable for development of coated superconductor based apparatuses where single tape is not long enough or needed to be looped. Generally the joint was completed at a certain temperature and under a constant pressure that were investigated in prior literatures. Because the CC tape is very thin, easy to damage caused by deformation in some region of the tape, the surface of the joint making table should be flat and smooth enough, which have not been yet paid serious attention. Meanwhile, the smoothness of the pressing table is crucial to obtain the joint with low resistance. In this paper, a simple and effective joint of coated superconductor tapes making process depended on a soldering table with high smoothness less than 5 μm/100 mm was investigated. In the process, the non-superconducting lapped joint method with face-to-face configuration was employed, and the solder layer thickness and the joint lapped length varied. The current-voltage characteristic of the jointed tapes was measured in liquid nitrogen bath by a standard four-probe technique. The joint with sufficiently low resistance of 6.3 nΩ was easily achieved with a lapped length of 14 cm, which is ascribed to the use of a soldering table with high smoothness. In addition, the joints microstructure was observed by the metallographic microscope and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to reveal the distribution of the solder between the joined CC tapes.
