    摘要:

    利用Al3Ti/TiN納米復(fù)合粉體在1280 ℃/150 MPa/1 h熱等靜壓條件下,制備出Al2O3/Ti4AlN3復(fù)合材料。利用XRD、SEM和TEM研究復(fù)合材料的形貌及成分。研究表明復(fù)合材料主要由片層結(jié)構(gòu)的Ti4AlN3基體和Al2O3顆粒增強(qiáng)相組成。Ti4AlN3基體的平均晶粒尺寸為7 μm;Al2O3顆粒的彌散分布,形狀不規(guī)則,粒度在1-3 μm,體積分?jǐn)?shù)約為27%。Al2O3/Ti4AlN3復(fù)合材料的強(qiáng)化機(jī)制為細(xì)晶強(qiáng)化和第二相粒子強(qiáng)化。Al2O3/Ti4AlN3復(fù)合材料與單相的Ti4AlN3材料相比,顯微硬度從2.5 GPa提高到6.7 GPa,常溫下最大壓縮強(qiáng)度從450 MPa提高到1 800 MPa,最大壓縮應(yīng)變由4%提高到6.2%。

    Abstract:

    Bulk intermetallic-ceramic composite Al2O3/Ti4AlN3 was fabricated by in-situ hot isostatic pressing of Al3Ti/TiN nanopowders under 1280 ℃/150 MPa/1 h conditions . The microstructure of composite were investigated by X-ray diffraction, SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope) and TEM(Transmission Electron Microscope). It is revealed that matrix Ti4AlN3 grains are strip-like and Al2O3 particles disperse in matrix uniformly with irregular shape. The averagegrain size of Ti4AlN3 is 7 μm. The size of Al2O3 particles are in the range of 1-3 μm, and volume fraction is about 40%. The Vickers hardness of Al2O3/Ti4AlN3 composite is 6.7GPa, maximal compressed strength is 1 800 MPa. Maximum compressive strain increased from 4% to 6.2%.Compared with the micro-hardness and compressed strength,Al2O3/Ti4AlN3 composite is higher than single Ti4AlN3 phase. The strengthening mechanisms of composite are fine grain strengthening and second phase strengthening.
