    摘要:

    采用電化學(xué)老化試驗(yàn)考察直接甲醇燃料電池(DMFC)陽極PtRu/C催化劑的失活過程。結(jié)果表明,老化試驗(yàn)后PtRu/C催化劑的甲醇氧化活性明顯降低。透射電鏡和X射線衍射分析結(jié)果表明,在老化試驗(yàn)中催化劑粒子經(jīng)歷了Otswald熟化過程和電場作用下的微晶定向遷移過程。電化學(xué)阻抗譜分析表明,老化試驗(yàn)后催化層的歐姆電阻和極化阻抗都顯著增加,這與活性組分的流失有關(guān)。X射線能譜分析顯示,老化試驗(yàn)后催化劑的Pt:Ru質(zhì)量比顯著升高。由電位波動(dòng)引起的活性組分流失是導(dǎo)致DMFC陽極催化劑失活的重要原因。

    Abstract:

    The activity loss of anode PtRu/C catalyst in direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) was examined by an electrochemical aging test. The results show that after the aging test, the activity of PtRu/C catalyst toward methanol oxidation decreased obviously. The transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis display that catalyst particles experienced Otswald ripening and directional migration under the electric field during the aging test. The electrochemical impedance spectra show that after the aging test, both the ohmic resistance and the polarization impedance increased remarkably, which is related to the loss of active components. The energy dispersive X-ray analysis shows that the mass ratio of Pt to Ru in the catalyst layer increased noticeably after the test. It is suggested that the loss of active components due to the potential fluctuation is an important factor responsible for the activity loss of the anode catalyst in DMFC.
