    研究了難熔金屬銥與SiC及銥與Y2O3的固相反應(yīng),采用金屬間化合物的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)生成吉布斯自由能等于標(biāo)準(zhǔn)形成焓的方法計算固相反應(yīng)熱力學(xué),采用電子分布與晶體結(jié)構(gòu)之間相關(guān)的Engel理論分析了銥與Y2O3的固相反應(yīng)機(jī)制。結(jié)果表明,銥與SiC在1000 ℃開始反應(yīng)生成Ir3Si和石墨,隨著反應(yīng)溫度升高,Ir3Si與SiC進(jìn)一步反應(yīng)生成更高熔點(diǎn)的IrSi,當(dāng)反應(yīng)溫度為1400 ℃時,固相反應(yīng)產(chǎn)物為IrSi和石墨。在1800 ℃的還原性碳?xì)夥障?,銥與Y2O3能夠發(fā)生固相反應(yīng)生成Ir2Y和CO,Ir外圍電子層失去電子形成d5sp2排布,Y外圍電子層得到電子形成d3sp排布,成鍵電子數(shù)目由17個增加至21個,導(dǎo)致Ir-Y 鍵能大于Y-O鍵能。

    Abstract:

    Solid state reactions between Ir and SiC and between Ir and Y2O3 were studied. The thermodynamics and mechanism of solid state reaction were discussed. The results indicate that Ir reacts with SiC at 1000 °C to yield Ir3Si and graphitized carbon. The products of Ir silicide changes from Ir3Si and IrSi at 1200 °C to IrSi at 1400 °C. The solid state reaction between Ir and Y2O3 is thermodynamically favorable above 1800 °C in a reductive carbon atmosphere. The reaction mechanism between Ir and Y2O3 was analyzed based on the Engel correlation between electronic configuration and structures of metals and alloy crystal structure.
