    摘要:

    采用單軸壓縮和掃描電鏡研究試樣尺寸和形狀因子(長徑比)對(duì)Zr56Al10.9Ni4.6Cu27.8Nb0.7 金屬玻璃力學(xué)性能的影響。結(jié)果表明,小尺寸和低長徑比的金屬玻璃試樣展現(xiàn)出更好的塑性,主要是小尺寸試樣在凝固過程中由于更高的冷卻速率而形成了大量的自由體積,以及多重剪切帶的穩(wěn)定傳播。同時(shí)引入剪切帶不穩(wěn)定因子(SBI)解釋了試樣尺寸和高徑比對(duì)金屬玻璃塑性的影響。研究表明,小尺寸和低長徑比的試樣可以獲得剪切帶的穩(wěn)定傳播,導(dǎo)致金屬玻璃基于尺寸和長徑比的塑性演變。

    Abstract:

    The effects of size and aspect ratio (height/diameter ratio) of the specimen on the mechanical properties of a Zr56Al10.9Ni4.6Cu27.8Nb0.7 metallic glass have been investigated by uniaxial compression tests and scanning electron microscope (SEM) observations. The results show that the metallic glass with smaller size and lower aspect ratio shows an enhanced plasticity due to larger amount of free volume formed during casting. The shear-band instability index (SBI) is introduced to explain the effects of the size and aspect ratio on the plasticity of the metallic glass. Stable propagation of shear bands can be achieved for the specimen with small size and low aspect ratio, resulting in a size and aspect ratio dependance of plasticity
