    利用X射線應(yīng)力分析儀和在線加載裝置測試了緊湊拉伸(compacttension, CT)Be試樣缺口前端的應(yīng)力分布,利用萬能拉伸試驗機、引伸計和掃描電鏡研究了緊湊拉伸Be試樣的斷裂行為。研究表明:樣品加工缺陷如缺口在載荷作用下形成應(yīng)力集中,樣品首先在此開裂,獲得了緊湊拉伸鈹試樣的載荷-裂紋張開曲線和平面應(yīng)變斷裂韌性為15.4 MPa m1/2。掃描電鏡觀察表明Be斷口呈現(xiàn)解理特征,緊湊拉伸試樣斷口呈現(xiàn)出3個特征區(qū)。裂紋尖端擴展觀察表明沿基滑移面形成解理微裂紋,這些微裂紋長大后受主應(yīng)力控制。利用斷裂韌性評估了Be材存在微裂紋時的斷裂強度。

    Abstract:

    The compact tension (CT) specimens of beryllium were employed to study the fracture behavior and mechanical properties. The local stress distribution near a notch in CT beryllium was measured by combination of an X-ray stress analysis and a custom-designed load device, and the fracture morphology was observed by SEM. The results show that the local stress near notch tip is much higher than that in other areas, and a cracking occurs firstly in this area. The loading-cracking displacement curve of the CT Be was obtained, and the fracture toughness value was calculated from the curve. The CT specimen fracture surfaces mainly exhibit a cleave morphology with three typical areas. Some open micro-cracks along the basal slip plane were formed in the crack tip, and its growth was controlled by primary stress after reaching a critical length. The tensile strength was evaluated by the fracture toughness theory when a crack existed in the Be material.
