    摘要:

    利用X射線粉末衍射、透射電鏡和掃描電鏡對(duì)商用Pt/C催化劑反應(yīng)前后的變化進(jìn)行了物化表征,同時(shí)應(yīng)用電化學(xué)方法研究了甲醇在碳載鉑納米微粒修飾的玻碳電極上的電催化氧化性能。結(jié)果表明,修飾電極對(duì)甲醇氧化呈現(xiàn)較高的電催化活性。鉑氧化物的電化學(xué)還原在Pt/c催化劑中受到了抑制,該現(xiàn)象可能是由于Pt與載體碳間的強(qiáng)烈作用所引起的。通過掃描電鏡和循環(huán)伏安研究表明,該催化劑對(duì)甲醇的氧化可能存在著表面結(jié)構(gòu)敏感效應(yīng)。

    Abstract:

    Physico-chemical characterization of commercially available Pt/C catalysts before and after methanol oxidation experiments was carried out by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscopy. Meanwhile, the electrocatalytic performance of the glassy carbon electrode modified with the carbon supported Pt nanoparticles for the oxidation of methanol has been studied by means of electrochemical method. The experimental results showed that the Pt/C/GC electrode had high electrocatalytic activity for the electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol. The electrochemical reduction of the Pt oxide is inhibited owing to the strong binding of Pt to the support in the Pt/C catalyst. By means of SEM and cyclic voltammetric studies, it was shown that a surface structure-sensitive effect might exist during electrooxidation of methanol on Pt/C catalyst.
