he possible interior strengthening mechanisms related to 2091 Aluminium-Lithium alloy are discussed in detail in the present paper, and the analycal solutions of these mechanisms for the alloy strength are converted out. The reason why 2091 alloy has the higher ductility and mechanical properties than other kinds of Al-Li alloys is given in some extent of detail. Some basic methods improving the synthetical mechanical properties are also introduced.
